"Turnberry Gets High on Houston with Planned Condo Tower" Houston Business Journal  - April 7, 2006

• The Dominion is located at 2323 McCue. This 31-story, high-rise apartment building features 230 apartment units, ranging from 653 square feet to 2,421 square feet and leasing for $1,195 to $5,900. Construction was completed in March 2005 and the project is fully leased.
• Randall Davis’ has built The Empire, a 70-unit condominium project situated next to The Manhattan, at the corner of Post Oak Boulevard and Hidalgo. The one-bedroom to three-bedroom units range from the $300,000’s to $1 million.
• Randall Davis has started construction on The Cosmopolitan, a 20-story deluxe high-rise condominium. The project contains 75 condominiums, ranging in size from 1,150 – 3,000 square feet and starting in the high $300,000s. Located at 1600 Post Oak Boulevard, the project also includes 10 penthouses priced at around $2.8 million. Construction started in April 2006 and should take 18 months to complete.
• Trammell Crow Residential is building The Alexan Post Oak, a 390 upscale, mid-rise apartments at 1111 Post Oak Boulevard. Units will rent for approximately $1.69 per square foot on this 4.6 acre tract.
• Turnberry Tower at the Galleria is a proposed project by nationally known Turnberry LTD, who will construct a 36-story ultra-luxury residential tower consisting of 183 expansive units. The project will be located next to the WaterWall on West Alabama Street.
• Whiteco Residential LLA, developer of the Dominion Post Oak, is proposing to construct two additional residential towers at the corner of Westheimer and Sage Road. Each tower will be up to 35 stories tall and consist of 225 apartment units. Construction is set to begin in 2007.
• BLVD Place is a 22 acre site which includes the Fashion Square and the Pavilion retail centers, and is located at the corner of Post Oak Boulevard at San Felipe. Recently acquired by Wulfe & Co., this project is slated to demolish the two retail centers and develop a major mixed use project that could include a new outdoor shopping center, a residential high-rise and a five-star hotel. Construction should begin in 2007.
• The Westcreek Apartments are a 29 acre site located inside the loop on Westheimer, currently comprised of 1,200 Class B apartment units. These apartments will be razed and redeveloped into a large scale, high-end, 1.5 million sf mixed use development which will include specialty retail, a boutique hotel and will be surrounded by mid-rise and high-rise residences fronting a central plaza.
• Trademark Property Co. has signed a 100-year ground lease on a 6-acre site, formerly the Central Ford location just inside the loop at 4410 Westheimer. The site is being redeveloped into a 100,000 sf mixed-use project, known as High Street, which should open in late 2008. The project will have specialty retail, restaurants and entertainment space on the ground floor. It will be topped off with 250 to 350 apartment units.
